Master Bath Seville

We are very excited to add this master bath remodel in Seville, OH as the latest addition to our portfolio! This particular homeowner initially contacted us because she had just moved back into the home she grew up in and wanted to update her mother’s “show bath” (it was never actually used the bathroom at all, it was just for show). The home was built in the year 1900, so needless to say it needed some updating. However, no run-of-the-mill bath makeover would do; the customer was [understandably] insistent that the bathroom remodel had to resonate with the charm and style of the home, but wasn’t exactly sure how to achieve the look and feel she was after. Therefore, it was a perfect match for our interior design team.

Perhaps the most significant element to this bathroom remodeling project consisted of the plumbing repairs/upgrades that were required since this former “show bathroom” had not been used in over 10 years. In particular, we removed the existing glamor tub and platform to create more functional space, and subsequently relocated the plumbing for a new air-jetted tub on the side wall. Collectively, this re-design of the floorplan created room for a small sitting area, adding the right touch of charm and comfort to the space.

In addition to the plumbing work, our team of contractors installed the beautiful Hampton Carrara marble floors, 4×10 wall tile (subway style pattern), Casale limestone accent strip, and the cap tile border as seen in photos.

Next, we built a short knee wall customized with a ledge between the tub and the toilet to separate the individual spaces for a dose of privacy. The vanities were then replaced with a 21” deep center cabinet and two 18” deep side cabinets from Norcraft in white and with full overlay doors, 5-piece drawer fronts, and soft-close drawer glides. These were chosen in order to yield a staggered look when accompanied with the Carrara Marble countertop and Kohler white under-mount sink.

Lastly, we removed a large mirror that took up the entire vanity wall, and replaced it with a smaller center mirror and added a sconce on each side.
